THIS is apropos of the international media coverage about India’s power outages that have triggered panic among the local people and the officials. What I have noticed is that this one-off incident has attracted international media attention. However, Paksitan’s chronic power outages have not attracted the world media’s attention.

Pakistan has been suffering from this for a long time, but there is little support from countries like the UK, the US, France, Russia and even China. This has not helped us get out of this crisis.
