LAHORE, Dec 13: Timetable of Multan Express (173-Up/174-Down) will be changed from Dec 21 for the convenience of general public, says Pakistan Railways.

According to the new timings, 173-Up Multan Express will leave Multan Cantonment at 4pm to reach Faisalabad at 8:05pm through Khanewal, Shorkot Cantonment, Toba Tek Singh and Gojra.

Similarly, the 174-Down Multan Express will depart Faisalabad at 8am to reach Multan Cantonment at 12:05pm.

Earlier, the 173-Up used to depart Multan Cantonment at 7:30am while the 174-Down from Faisalabad at 3pm. No reservation:

All reservation offices of Railways will remain closed on Dec 17 on account of Youm-i-Ashur (Muharram 10), according to an announcement on Monday.

Railways has 34 reservation offices on its network at the Lahore railway headquarters, including Lahore city and Cantonment, Gujranwala city, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Peshawar cantonment, Multan cantonment, Muzaffarabad, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Kohat cantonment, Havelian, Attock city, Mari Indus, Kundian, Kharian cantonment, Nowshera, Faisalabad, Quetta, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Rohri, Sibi, Mirpurkhas, Khairpur, Sahiwal, Karachi cantonment, Jacobabad, Rahim Yar Khan and Khanpur.
