LAHORE: With 26 more deaths during the last 24 hours and 966 new corona cases reported in Punjab on Thursday, the total number of deaths has reached 1,955, with 84,587 patients, says primary and secondary healthcare department.

Lahore is still leading the way with 466 new cases, with Faisalabad reporting 73 patients, Multan 13, Rawalpindi 63, Sargodha 33 and Sheikhupura and Gujranwala 22 each. According to the primary and secondary healthcare, 9,587 tests were conducted on Thursday, which resulted in 966 new cases.

So far, Punjab has carried out 564,893 tests, which have resulted in 84, 587 confirmed cases. In the last 24 hours, 534 patients have recovered, taking total number of recoveries to 51,450.
