TAXILA: The derailment of Rawalpindi bound freight train bogie near Taxila railway station on Friday suspended traffic for over three hours on Rawalpindi-Peshawar and Taxila-Havalian sections.

The Pakistan Railways sources said the incident took place at the down track some 5km from Taxila railway station.

Soon after the incident, the staff of the Engineering Wing of Pakistan Railways from Rawalpindi and Taxila restored the track after repairing and pulling the bogie.
