TOBA TEK SINGH: A minor boy was tied with a rope and allegedly tortured on Wednesday by a man and his son for urinating in a drain outside his house at Chak 336-GB Saraba.

A first information report registered by Rajana police under section 342 of Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of Muhammad Amjad said his five-year-old nephew Muhammad Faizan was on his way to mosque and he urinated in a drain outside the house of Akhtar.

The complainant said Akhtar and his son Adnan overpowered the child, took him to their cattle house where they tied him with a rope and allegedly tortured him.

Amjad said the locals informed him and he rushed to the place but the suspects refused to free him. Later, police were informed and a team rescued the child and arrested the suspects.

ACCIDENT: Four people were injured critically in a collision between two cars here on Wednesday at Kamalia on Kamalia-Chichawatni Road.

Rescue 1122 said a family of Chichawatni was on its way to Kamalia by a car when it collided with another car as a result Muhammad Ashraf (50), Kiran Perveen (30) and Asia Perveen (40) of Chichawatni and other car’s driver Sajid Gulzar (45) of Okara received critical injuries. All the four injured were rushed to Kamalia tehsil headquarters hospital.
