GHALANAI: Two motorcyclists were killed when a speeding truck hit them here on Saturday.
Police and locals said that the accident occurred near Qandahro Khakh Bazaar on Mohmand Expressway.
They said the victims were going on a motorcycle when they were knocked down by a truck going at a high speed. As a result, they suffered fatal injuries and died while being shifted to hospital.
The victims were identified as Ibrar, 24, and Riaz Khan, 18. They belonged to Akram Baig Kor Qandahri area of Safi tehsil.
The police rushed to the spot, impounded the truck and arrested its driver. A case was registered against him.
