SIALKOT: The Civil Lines police have registered a case against a PML-N MPA, his gunman and three others for scuffling with police officials in court right in front of the DPO office.

According to the FIR, ASI Raees Iqbal and other police officials were on duty after presenting two parties for inquiry in a case in the office of SP (Investigation) on Wednesday.

PML-N MPA Rana Abdul Sattar, his gunman and three other men Majid, Shahid and Sajid clashed with the policemen for not favouring the party backed by the legislator.

They roughed up the ASI and his team and threatened them with dire consequences.

Police registered a case (No 232/2019) under sections 156, 353 and 506 of PPC on the report of ASI Raees Iqbal.
