OKARA: Three labourers were killed in a cold storage fire in Sattar Colony, Depalpur, on Wednesday.

Reports said a fire erupted in the hall of a cold storage due to a short circuit. Two labourers Muhammad Ameer and Mukhtar were suffocated by the smoke billowing from the fire whereas Muhammad Amin suffered critical burns and succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Rescue 1122 and Municipal Fire brigade extinguished the fire after two-hour efforts.
