LAHORE: A passenger inaugurated on Saturday an all-economy class train that will be chugging between Lahore and Narowal.

Comprising six economy class coaches, the Narowal Express would be covering the distance between Lahore and Narowal in two hours and 15 minutes, Pakistan Railways Lahore Divisional Superintendent Sufian Sarfraz Dogar told newsmen after passenger Aas Muhammad cut a ribbon at a ceremony at Lahore Railway Station.

Aas Muhammad was all praise for railways authorities for running the train which would facilitate hundreds of residents of Narowal, Badomalhi and Narang who come to Lahore on a daily basis.

Mr Dogar said the train would be leaving Lahore at10am to reach Narowal at12.15pm. Similarly, it would be departing Narowal at 2pm to reach Lahore at 4.15pm.
