KARACHI: The 17th Sindh Games, which were initially scheduled to be held in Karachi from March 28 to 31 have been rescheduled, the Games’ organising committee announced on Wednesday.

The Games will now be held from April 19 to 22 as the city hosts the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final on Sunday, while the West Indies cricket team is scheduled to visit for three T20 Internationals set to be played on April 1,2 and 3.

Many of the different events of the Sindh Gamesthe were scheduled to be held at National Coaching Center, adjacent to National Stadium, the venue for the PSL final.

National Coaching Center has been made unavailable for the scheduled games due to security concerns.

According to a media release disseminated by the organisers, matric examinations would also be starting from March 31, which has also been taken into consideration before announcing the new dates.

Sindh Games organisers would soon be revealing mascot for the event and would also display it at different places of the metropolis.
