SAHIWAL: The Sahiwal Arts Council (SAC) has started registration for the youth to take part in singing and painting competitions under the Chief Minister’s Talent Hunt Programme.

This was stated by Commissioner Babar Hayat Tarar while talking to the media in his office on Thursday.

SAC Resident Director Aqeel Ashfaq said the registration process for the youth belonging to the age group of 18 to 35 years had started in three districts of the division. The registration can be done through online link too.

The SAC developed two points for registering students; one is in the COMSATS University and the other in the Government Postgraduate College.

The auditions for singing would be held at Pakpattan, Sahiwal and Okara on March 4, 7 and 9, respectively. The successful candidates would compete at district, divisional and provincial level. The last date for registration is Feb 28.

The SAC has given the task to director colleges, information officers and local government institutions to hunt for talented youth across their districts.
