DADU: Two persons were killed and a dozen others were injured when two cars collided head-on at Khanot along the Sehwan-Jamshoro section of the Indus Highway, some 29 kilometres from Jamshoro, on Thursday.

The deceased victims were identified as Irshad and Mehran Siyal. Their bodies and the injured victims were taken to the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Hospital in Jamshoro.

In another accident, a man was killed and 15 other persons were injured when a passenger bus was hit by a truck at the Thermal Power House on the same highway on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Sajad Chandio.
