TAXILA: A man was shot and injured by robbers at Pathargarh road in Hassanabdal police area limits on Wednesday.

Usman reported to police that he was going to his native village Babarki when three armed men, hiding their faces with mask, intercepted him. He said they robbed him of money and cell phone. When they tried to snatch his vehicle, he fled but they opened fire on him and he received a bullet in his abdomen.

However, he succeeded in reaching the THQ hospital, from where he was shifted to DHQ hospital Rawalpindi for being critical.
