PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has directed the working groups of different departments to plan marketing their products in the backdrop of CPEC.

A statement issued here said Mr Khattak was presiding over a meeting regarding working groups.

Chairman of Economic Zones Development and Management Company (EZDMC) Ghulam Dastagir, chief executive EZDMC Hassan Ansari, secretary planning and development Shahab Ali Shah and others attended the meeting.

Mr Khattak said KP had become a partner in some of the important projects being launched under the CPEC, adding his province had already prepared a list of projects which had significance in the economic corridor. Though work on these projects continued in collaboration with the EZDMC these should be seen afresh in the backdrop of CPEC, and therefore should be marketed, he emphasised.

The chief minister said there was no denying the fact that CPEC had enhanced the strategic importance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, therefore, these advantages should be properly marketed to ensure sustained development in KP.
