CAEN: Playing with 10 men for an hour, Dijon rallied from two goals down to grab a 3-3 draw at struggling Caen in the French league on Friday.

Despite trailing 3-1 at halftime and reduced to 10 after Arnold Bouka Moutou was sent off for a second yellow card, Dijon snatched a point in the 81st minute when Lois Diony’s shot ricocheted off Vincent Bessat and Alaeddine Yahia and went in.

Dijon could have even won the match but Julio Tavares hit the crossbar in the 84th.

Caen, who left the relegation zone but are winless in four league games, opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a header from Yann Karamoh’s cross.

The hosts did not hold on to their lead for long, conceding two minutes later as Pierre Lees-Melou made the most of a backheel from Tavares to level.

But Bouka Moutou compromised the visitors’ chances with two yellow cards in as many minutes.

Caen took advantage of the situation and Santini doubled his tally from Ronny Rodelin’s cross. Karmoh then turned from provider to goal scorer.

Dijon, who gained promotion last season and stand one point above Caen, looked set for a difficult second half but managed to rally.

Diony pulled one back on the hour with a powerful right-footed shot before Yahia inadvertently beat his own keeper.
