Pakistan outplay China 6-0

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hockey team got another victory by a tennis score in the Boys’ Under-18 Asia Cup, defeating China 6-0 in the second match at Dhaka’s Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium on Sunday.

Pakistan had defeated Chinese Taipei 6-1 in their opening fixture on Saturday and play their last pool match against Hong Kong on Tuesday.

According to information received here, Pakistan struggled to find the target in the opening half despite getting several chances.

The second half saw Pakistan storm China’s goal producing goals at regular intervals with Amjad Ali (two), Afraz (two), Khairullah (one) and Ali Aziz (one) getting on the scoresheet.
