Lasbela trees

Published August 27, 2016

LASBELA district is famous for forests, but the trees have been cut in large numbers. The wood is smuggled from Lasbela to Karachi and other districts of Balochistan. New technology is utilised to cut trees. It is unfortunate that the officials of the department concerned support and help the timber mafia. this has badly affected the trees of Lasbela. The local people face problems in getting wood for their daily use. The authorities concerned should look into the matter.
