SAHIWAL: Seven members of a family died in a car-truck collision at Phatoo Mor on national highway on Friday.
Police said a family from Shahdara, Lahore, was returning from Mian Channu, Khanewal, after the engagement of their member.
Rescue 1122 said five people, including three women, died on spot and two at Sahiwal DHQ Hospital. It identified the dead as Hasina, Taj Muhammad, Sajjad, Hifza, Rubina, Tayyaba and Riaz.
