LAHORE: The TCS courier facility for home delivery of machine readable passports (MRPs) is proceeding smoothly and is drawing considerable positive interest in the public based on smooth coordination between the Immigration & Passport authorities, says a press release.

The service launched initially in major cities is expected to be expanded to the rest of the country by the end of current month. The response rate from public is picking up every day and is gradually increasing.

The release further says TCS is fully equipped to provide the home delivery service in major cities and there are no capacity issues at all.

A few instances of lack of service may have been reported but there are cogent reasons for this.

An atmosphere of confusion has been created in this connection but it needs to be pointed out that the passport agent mafia is responsible for this as they do not want the MRP home delivery service to succeed.
