According to officials, police were informed by locals about the presence of some suspicious items in Shano Ghundi area of Shabqadar. They rushed to the spot while calling in the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).

When the bomb experts combed the area after cordoning it off, they found two explosive devices. One of the devices weighed 7kg and the other 4kg, according to a BDS official.

The bomb experts also recovered Prima Cord, a detonating cord used in blasting, one remote control and four receivers from the place.
