LAHORE: Twenty coaches from all over the country will attend the IOC Solidarity Badminton Technical Coaching Course to be held at a hotel here from May 25 to June 7 under the auspices of the Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF).

PBF secretary general Adil Abdullah Khan Rokhari said the World Badminton Federation had also appointed Sambenthan Sivaperume to conduct the course.

He had also thanked Pakistan Olympic Association president retired Lt Gen Arif Hasan for allocating the main course to the PBF.

He said both male and female coaches would hone their skill in the course.

It is the first course of its kind in Pakistan after the World Badminton Federation had lifted the ban on its Pakistan chapter, which it had imposed some three years back due to conflict between two groups.
