Make no mistake, the Pakistan film industry is making strides, albeit short, in becoming a global force to reckon with. Another evidence of it is the selection of a film Abdullah — The Final Witness for this year’s prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

The project has been written, produced and directed by the award-winning novelist Hashim Nadeem and the cast includes Sajid Hasan, Imran Abbas, Sadiya Khan, Hameed Sheikh, Saleem Mughal and Imran Tareen. All the best Abdullah! You Cannes do it.
