I APPLIED for GCE A level examinations by CIE in British Council, Karachi, on Feb 1 and submitted my fees and the required documents in the bank.

I request the authorities concerned to take immediate action to redress my grievance.

On my first call to the British Council, they said I would be receiving an e-mail confirmation within two weeks. But I did not.

They asked me to be patient till the second last week of April. I called them almost every week, inquiring them when my statement of entry would be delivered.

Since then I have registered three complaints at the British Council. Finally, they e-mailed me on April 20 that my statement of entry has been dispatched and I would receive it within two days.

On April 29, they called me saying they haven’t received my application and I am not even registered for my May/June examinations, which were scheduled to start on April 6.
