KARACHI: Shahram Changezi became the third Pakistani cueist to qualify for the last-32 round in the ongoing 31st Asian Snooker Championship in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

According to results made available here The Pakistan No 2 routed Malaysia’s Chooi Yew Wah straight 4-0 to complete his league engagements with three wins and a defeat. He coasted to 65-31, 79-45, 105-9, 77-5 victory over Malaysian opponent.

By virtue of triumph, he joined compatriots Mohammad Asif and Hamza Akbar in the last-32 round.

According to draws, Shahram is pitted against Indian Manan Chandra while Asif will be up against his pupil and reigning national champion Hamza in the last 32 match on Tuesday.

Results: Shahram Chanzezi (Pakistan) bt Chooi Yew Wah (Malaysia) 4-0 (65-31, 79-45, 105-9, 77-5).
