QUETTA: A tribal elder and his guard were killed by men on a motorbike in Sariab area on Monday, police said.
Zahir Khan Rind was passing through Killi Baro area in his vehicle when assailants opened fire at him. Mr Rind died on the spot while his guard Abdul Malik succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
Two other people travelling with them were injured.
The cause of the crime could not be ascertained.
Police are investigating the case.
