PESHAWAR: The Peshawar district administration on Friday imposed ban on use of flying vehicles in the provincial capital for a month.

Unmanned air vehicles and surveillance system, drone camera, flying cameras quad copters and balloons were barred from flying in the limits of Peshawar.

In a statement issued here, deputy commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud said that the ban had been imposed under section 144. Anyone found violating this order shall be proceeded against under section 188 of Pakistan Penal Code. He said that decision had been taken due to security reasons in the provincial capital.
