KARACHI: Arif Richard slammed an unbeaten 78 to guide Pakistan to an impressive nine-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the second and final match of their International Disability one-day series here at the National Stadium on Friday.

With this win, the hosts recorded a 2-0 clean-sweep in the series.

Richard, named the best player of the series, blasted nine boundaries in his 95-ball knock as Pakistan reached the moderate target of 157 for the loss of just one wicket in the 28th over.

Rao Javed smashed eight fours in his unbeaten 57. Richard and Javed shared a 138-run unbroken partnership for the second wicket.

Earlier sent in to bat first, Afghanistan made 156 all out in 39.5 overs. Captain Nabiullah Nabi made 32 off 43 balls with four fours, Haseebullah made 24. Pacer Abdullah Khan claimed three wickets for 22 in four overs and left-arm slow bowler Mohammad Ameer took 2-22.
