KARACHI: NED University girls retained the IBA Sports Throwball Tournament title when they beat Baharia University 2-1 in the final at IBA Campus here on Monday.

NED University team comprising Erum Bukhari, Hunza Khan, Najiya Siddiqui, Mahnoor Asif, Sara Raza, Hannah Shoaib, Yusra Rahimtoola, Hira Rasool and Maliha Zafar registered a 15-10, 11-15, 15-5 victory.

NED girls started well by grabbing the opening game. But, Baharia University pulled the second to level the terms. However, in the decider NED girls produced a sterling display to outclass by winning the decider 15-5.

Earlier, in the first three matches, NED defeated Greenwich University, Bahria University and IBA University to storm into the final.
