MULTAN: DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal on Sunday paid a surprise visit to Hussain Aagahi Bazaar and got the encroachments removed.

The DCO visited the bazaar along with the anti-encroachment squad of Shah Rukn-i-Alam Town and got started an operation against the encroachments in his presence. The team demolished illegal structures and seized belongings of the shopkeepers.

The DCO asked many other shopkeepers and vendors to remove encroachments within two days. He said Qila Kuhna Qasim Bagh and Hussain Aagahi bazaars were the heart of the city and he was committed to making it beautiful. He said he would monitor the campaign at Chowk Clock Tower and Hussain Aagahi Bazaar on a daily basis.
