Men are 35pc faster and 2.4pc more accurate than women at parking cars overall, with the differences even more pronounced in parallel parking, according to research led by Claudia C. Wolf and Sebastian Ocklenburg of Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany. The superior ability of men at identifying rotated images of three-dimensional objects is presumably important in parking, the researchers say.
