Stray dogs at KU

Published November 24, 2014

THE number of stray dogs wandering freely has grown in the University of Karachi. No student or member of the faculty feels safe as wild dogs move in packs and are mostly to be found in the vicinity of the arts lobby early in the morning.

The youth of Karachi are resilient and can face many a problem that comes their way calmly but wild dogs are the limit. The students, particularly girls, feel threatened and insecure and have complained to their teachers about this menace but it seems the matter can only be dealt effectively at a higher level. I, therefore, request the administrator of Karachi to take notice of the matter and rid our university and our city of these unwanted creatures.
