QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said that manufacturers and dealers involved in sale of spurious drugs are enemies of humanity who do not deserve any lenience.

“The health department, doctors and police should take action against anti-social elements involved in the inhuman act,” he said while talking to a delegation of medicine traders here on Thursday.

Acting IG Ahsan Mehboub and health department officials were also present.

The chief minister said elements selling death in the shape of spurious medicines should not be given any relief and action should be taken against them under the Drug Act.

He instructed Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch and officials concerned to take stern action to fulfil his government’s commitment to save the people from fake and sub-standard medicines.
