Govt taking all measures to eliminate terrorism, says CM Malik

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Saturday reiterated his government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism from the southwestern province.

Dr Malik made the remarks during his visit to Quetta’s Hazara Town, two days after eight members of the Hazara Shia community were gunned down in Balochistan’s provincial capital.

The attack was claimed by Lashker-i-Jhangvi, following which the Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) and Shia organisations observed a shutter-down strike on Friday in protest against the killings.

During his visit to Hazara Town today, the chief minister met with the bereaved families of the slain community members and offered his condolences.

He also met with leaders of the leaders of the HDP and said his government was resolute and would take all measures in order to fight the scourge of terrorism.

The chief minister added that law enforcement agencies were working tirelessly to nab those behind the attack in Hazarganji, saying the state was now close to apprehending them.

He has miserably failed to nab the mence of terrorism to protect the community.His claim is a false and is no sincere efforts has ever been put to eliminate the outlaws who are freely roaming in the streets of the city. Mr CM initiate some concrete strategy to safeguard the innocent community.

@Mr. Malik CM - you are no competent to protect Baluchistan province, Governor is also doubtful his loyalty are not with Pakistan, when you Mr. CM not protecting life of people why u hang over on post. Do not taking lesson from F.G. Ibrahim he is best and honest judge but worse administrator to conduct election. Baluchistan need honest and sincere people. CM and Governor post has been distributed between Bazenjo / Achakzai. God save Pak from you and Hazara and other people of province.

Dr. Baloch is a Govt. Yes man. He is pathetic. The Pak Govt. does not have it's writ anywhere in Balochistan. It is total chaos and lawlessness. The extremists kill, loot, kidnap rob, with impunity. Heavy duty smuggling and cross border attacks on Iranians are every day occurrence. the Iranians will verify this. There is no law and order ANYWHERE in Balochistan. The police/FC hide in barracks. Dr. Baloch's nepotism is well known. Most of his family and relatives have lucrative jobs/positions in the so called Balochistan Govt.

We heard that before. Empty words or speecehes would be useless, people want to see real results. Tax payers are paying your salary and benefits. Lets see if you can prove that you are capable of delivering positive results. Talk is always cheap. SHOW ME THE RESULTS. Lets check back what he would do in next 30 days, 90 days, six months?.

Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch knows very well who is behind the killings of Hazara and workers from other provinces but he is not taking any action against them. Dr Abdul Malik Baloch is fully aware and also the Law enforcement agencies know that BLA and religious extremists are responsible of all the killings in Balochistan but for some reasons they are not taking any action against them.
