At the seminar titled ‘Women Police: The Silver Lining’, participants finalised the speakers said besides giving promotions, policewomen should be assigned responsibilities correlating with their ranks.

Participants noted that policewomen should have the authority to register FIR, investigate cases and perform all other duties performed by their male counterparts. Moreover, women cells should be established at every police station.
