KARACHI: A worker of the Sunni Tehreek was shot dead in New Karachi in the early hours of Wednesday, police said.

They added that Mohammed Hussain, 24, was attacked in Sector-11-G, Godhra Camp, by gunmen.

He sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim belonged to the Sunni Tehreek, said New Karachi Industrial Area SHO Mohammed Ali Niazi.
