HYDERABAD: Consul-General of Switzerland Emil Wyss visited the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) on Tuesday and held a meeting with members of the chamber.

The consul-general, who was accompanied by Jordan James Din, head of commercial section, informed the businessmen that Swiss investment in Pakistan stands at $1.5 billion in the past last 10 years.

He stated that Pakistani businessmen are importing textile and heavy machinery from Switzerland while dairy farmers can also benefit from Swiss expertise.

He said that Pakistan needs assistance in energy sector and it has to educate people on energy conservation.
