RAWALPINDI: Two unidentified gunmen robbed a man, who was on his way home after withdrawing Rs1.4 million from a commercial bank on Dhamial Road in broad daylight on Monday, police and the victim said.

Faisal Mehmood complained to the police that he was heading home after withdrawing cash from a bank in Saddar, when two men intercepted him near his house.

He said the strangers threatened to kill him and demanded the cash he had withdrawn from the bank.

The robbers then snatched the bag and escaped from the scene.
