LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf supporters on Saturday continued their sit-in at Lalik Chowk, Defence Housing Authority, on the fifth consecutive day. The number of protesters is increasing continuously as men, women and children are participating in the sit-in. They are continuously chanting slogans “Go Nawaz Go” and “Imran Terey Jannisaar – Beshumaar Beshumaar”. The protesters late in the night blocked Ghazi Chowk.

The protesters are also making short speeches and demanding that the prime minister resign and five other demands made by party chief should also be met.

The protesters say they would continue participating in the sit-in till the PTI’s sit-in continues in Islamabad. ISF representative Karrar Khan Niazi said the sit-in was continuing peacefully.
