LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Bar Association has condemned the killing of innocent Palestinians by Israeli forces in Gaza and urged the international community to play their role against the brutality.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, LHCBA President Shafqat Mahmood Chohan announced offering funeral prayers in absentia of martyred Palestinians on Aug 6 (Wednesday) to show solidarity with them.

Funeral prayers will be held at all bar associations simultaneously across the province, he said.

Mr Chohan said it was very awful that international human rights organisations did not even condemn Israel for killing innocent children and women in Gaza.

The civilized world could not bear brutal killings of children, he said and called it a war crime what was being done in Gaza.
