AT this critical stage Pakistan is in dire need of unity. Unfortunately, some of our politicians are adding fuel to fire by making irresponsible statements. They fail to understand the gravity of the situation because time and again they are criticising the provincial governments of Punjab and Sindh for not blocking the entry of the IDPs into their provinces. Such statements can prove disastrous.

Moreover, it is not an easy job to prevent the infiltration of militants under the guise of IDPs.

It is thus very important that our politicians stop making such controversial statements. We all need to be united and show solidarity with our IDP brothers by helping them in every walk of life.
