KARACHI: Waqas Haroon played a match-winning innings to help Royal CC enter the final of the second Bob Woolmer Memorial Cricket Club Dollar East T20 Trophy with a 42-run win over Karbala Heroes CC here on Thursday.

Batting first in their semi-final clash at the Hill Park Ground, Royal CC made 165-8 with man-of-the-match Waqas hitting four sixes and six fours in his 68. Umar Siddique remained unbeaten with 40 while Tariq Haroon, older brother of Waqas, scored an 18-ball 33 (three fours and two sixes).

The Quetta-based Karbala Heroes CC were all out for 123 in 18.3 overs with slow left-armer Amjad Manzoor taking 3-18.
