He ordered constitution of special teams to arrest proclaimed offenders as well as court absconders, at the earliest.

The SSP directed to launch an effective crackdown against car thieves by setting up special teams to ensure their arrests and to take prompt action to stop auto-theft incidents with high vigilance at important markets, shopping areas and exit points of the city.

He asked all police officials to adopt professional and responsible attitude to mitigate the sufferings of the people.

He focused on resolving public complaints and addressing citizens’ grievances on immediate basis to improve the people’s confidence in the police department.
