South Africa’s maiden ODI series win in Sri Lanka has helped it, as well as its players, to make upward movements in the latest Reliance ICC ODI Rankings, which were released on Sunday. South Africa won the third and final ODI by 82 runs and won the series 2-1 for the first time on Sri Lankan soil.

South Africa are at number four while Sri Lanka are behind India who are at the number two spot. Pakistan is at number six while Australia is the number one ODI team in the world.

Hashim Amla is just behind his captain and number one ranked batsman AB de Villiers after finishing the series as the leading run-getter with 258 runs. Amla, who scored centuries in the opening two matches, has jumped two places. While Pakistan's all-weather-batsman skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is the lone Pakistani in the top 10 at number 8.

Pakistan's spin-wizard Saeed Ajmal maintains his number one spot in the bowlers list. The Windies spinner Sunil Narine at second place and English speedster James Anderson is at number three.

In the all-rounders ranking, Mohammad Hafeez remains at the number one spot.
