Easter celebrated across country

ISLAMABAD: The Christian community celebrated Easter across the country on Sunday.

The day began with special prayers and exchange of greetings by the community members.

Easter Sunday is always a well-attended service at churches as people say prayers and hold ceremonies to mark the Easter week.

In Karachi, a large number of people gathered at churches, attended services with religious zeal and prayed for the safety and security of the country.

In Quetta, the main service was held at the central church on Jinnah Road.

Special security arrangements were made around churches and religious gatherings of Christians in the city.
