LAHORE: The FIA on Thursday raided illegal gateway exchange in Mansoora and arrested six grey traffickers.

A FIA cyber crime team led by Assistant Director Jamil Ahmed Khan Meo raided the exchange on a tip-off. It termed it a major breakthrough in its campaign against grey traffickers. Two satellite antennas being used for Dubai-based internet bandwidth and 26 exchanges have been seized. A number of SIMS and cards have also been recovered.

An official said owing to satellite antennas the accused were leaving no trace for the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.

Those arrested included Attaur Rehman and Naeem Ahmed. A case has been registered against the suspects.
