ISLAMABAD: The World Bank Group is preparing a new strategy for Pakistan which will guide the engagement of its three institutions for the next five years and would be designed to focus on the twin goals of ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity, says a press release.

It is a joint strategy of the World Bank, International Finance Corporation and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency will build on their respective strengths and areas of expertise.

The new strategy is being designed to support development priorities of the government that contribute to the twin goals of ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity in Pakistan.
