ISLAMABAD, Dec 27: The Kohsar police on Thursday registered a case against a man on the charge of sexually abusing his daughter-in-law.

The 24-year-old woman reached the police station on Thursday and complained that she lived in Choa Syedan Shah in Chakwal along with her husband and other family members.

She said her father-in-law worked as a security guard in a foreign diplomat’s house in Islamabad. He came to the town and on return to Islamabad offered her that he would drop her at her mother’s house near Zia Masjid in the federal capital.

However, she alleged that the accused took her to the foreign diplomat’s residence and locked her in a servant quarter there and abused her for two days. On the third day, she managed to escape from the house and reached the police station.

When the police reached the house, the accused had already escaped. However, an FIR was registered against him. After medical examination, the woman was allowed to go with her parents.

It may be noted that a month back a woman was brought from Abbottabad and kept in a house at F-6/1. The Kohsar police registered a case against a servant of the house but so far no progress has been made in the case.
