LARKANA, Jan 5: A young man and a teenaged girl were shot dead on Thursday in Jalal Jagirani village in the jurisdiction of Mohata police station.
Sources said the murder of Saeed Ahmed Jagirani, 20, and Ms Shahida Jagirani, 15, was the result of alleged karo-kari, while Hussain Bakhsh Jagirani, maternal uncle of the deceased man said that it was the outcome of an ongoing enmity between two groups of Jagirani clan which so far, had claimed nine lives.
However, a phone call at the police station by this correspondent to know the cause of double murder remained unattended.
