Seven Fata MNAs support PPP

ISLAMABAD, Feb 27: Seven newly-elected MNAs from Fata have pledged to support Pakistan People’s Party.

The MNAs called on PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari here at the Parliament Lodge on Wednesday and expressed their willingness to support the policies of the PPP.

The MNAs are: Nur-ul-Haq Qadri and Hamidullah Khan Afridi (Khyber Agency), Munir Aurakzai and Jawad Hussain (Aurakzai Agency) Malik Bilal Rahman (Mohmand Agency), Shaukatullah Khan (Bajaur) and Zafar Beg Bhittani from the Frontier Region.

Mr Zardari thanked them for their support and said the party would give top priority to peace and security in the tribal areas.—APP
