Adnan, Rashid star for Lions

LAHORE, March 11: Good batting by Adnan Raza and Rashid Riaz enabled Lahore Lions earn a three-wicket win against Hyderabad Hawks in the National One-day Regional Silver League match at the LCCA Ground on Saturday.

Adnan scored 69 while Rashid made 51 as the Lions overcame a strutting start to achieve their target of 200 in 44.3 overs.

Both Adnan and Rashid hit six boundaries and stabled the innings by adding 91 after the Lions lost three for 31.

Medium-pacer Naeemur Rahman took four for 47.

Earlier, the Hawks were dismissed for 199 after winning the toss. Shahid Qambrani was the leading scorer with 67.
